Jax Beach Cal Ripken All-Star & Advanced Baseball

Jax Beach offers both Advanced Baseball as well as Summer All-Star Teams

The All-Star player selection process begins in late February. All-Star teams will begin practice in March and the season could last into June and July if a team advances in the Cal Ripken state tournament and beyond.

Advanced Baseball Teams play during the Fall season as a continuation of our All-Star program, competing against other local teams.

Jax Beach expects to field All Star teams in the following age groups. The establishment of the “B” teams listed below will be dependent on the remaining number of eligible players numbers once the “A” teams have been selected.

6 year-olds (6U), 7 year-olds (7U), 8 year-olds (8U), 9 year-olds (9U),

10 year-olds (10U), 11 year-olds (11U), 12 year-olds (12U Cooperstown team)

7/8 year-olds (8B),9 year olds (9B), 9/10 year-olds (10B), 11 year-olds (11b), 11/12 year-olds (12B)

An All-Star application must be completed in order to participate in the All-Star tryout and be considered for selection to a team. 

Our governing affiliation, Cal Ripken, has imposed boundary requirements and eligibility restrictions on players that are new to JBBA or that are returning to JBBA after playing with other baseball programs. If this situation is applicable to your player candidate, please review our Boundary Map page and reach out to your league representative so your situation can be discussed with the appropriate board member.
