Jacksonville Beach Baseball Association is proud to announce the expansion of our program to now include a new Babe Ruth division for kids age 13-16.
Players in this group will play on a full regulation baseball field with 90′ base paths and a 60’6″ pitching distance. Our coaches will help players to further develop the skills needed to better prepare them for play at a higher level, such as middle school and high school baseball.
Here are some anticipated highlights of this program:
- Full integration into the Cal Ripken/ Babe Ruth spring schedule, which will include a minimum of 12 games that will also involve other Babe Ruth parks in our district
- Practices and home games will be held at Seabreeze Elementary in Jacksonville Beach
- Opportunity for Babe Ruth Tournament/All-Star play once the regular season has concluded
- Use of JBBA covered cages and bullpens at Wingate Park for registered participants
